Pleasing Christ

"Therefore we are always confident knowing that whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:  For we walk by faith not by sight. We are confident, I say willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him."

(2 Corinthians 5:6-9)

Throughout our lives we have all had someone at one point or another whom we wanted to please, they could be our parents, a teacher, friend, boss or anyone else that could have filled a mentor’s role.  This should not be, we are to work to be pleasing in the sight of the Lord.  A reward given by the One Living God will remain forever and ever.  The reward given by man that is not Christ motivated is simply insufficient.  We must have faith in the things we cannot see rather than having hope in the things we can.

Live for the Lord with all your heart mind and strength.  He will accept you and He will reward you when you seek Him diligently, and that acceptance and reward will be more fulfilling and last longer than anything the world can ever offer.  Jesus will never let you down.  AMEN!!

All in Christ
